(poetry diary 152) Had a dentist’s visit today, the news of which provoked all of my friends and coworkers who haven’t been to the dentist in a long while to say that they also have to go see one. Many are worried of what their dentists will think of them for putting it off for so long. Here’s a poem about that:

The New Dentist
Jaimee Kuperman
Driving to the new dentist’s office
the slow drive of a new place
with the McDonalds that I don’t go to
on the left, the mall two miles away.
