(poetry diary 94) I’ve been posting a lot of political poems in the aftermath of the election as I wonder about how poets should respond/wonder about what sort of poetry we’ll see over the next few years in the U.S. as people wrestle w/current events. But it’s Thanksgiving week & many of us are exhausted from political-story overload, so poems about the holiday/loving each other seem more in order, esp. as many of us will need big doses of loving thoughts to help us get through current event disussions during our upcoming feasts.  🙂
